I think they're really cool. I don't find them to be particularly scary or harmful.... unless you're a male mantis.
I found this thing in my house this morning. Not how it got there but I used a piece of paper to get it outside.

The first few are noir filter photos that I took in downtown Atlanta tonight. The next is from inside a record store in Marietta during lunch hour, and the bottom two are ones that I took from on top of a parking deck in Marietta before jury duty.
...and, yes, I gave the musician a few dollars before I took the photo.

Thanks. That's the observation tower on top of Fort Mountain. No rickety lumber wood towers for these folks. Fort Mountain people deserve the royal treatment.
I wanted to take more photos of the trail hills, but mere pictures cannot convey the suckage of Mystery Mountain Marathon/12-Miler.If you're not in shape, then you're going to die.
