I lost my rama

I think they're really cool.  I don't find them to be particularly scary or harmful.... unless you're a male mantis.

I found this thing in my house this morning. Not how it got there but I used a piece of paper to get it outside.

Agreed. Always cool when I can tell one is looking at me.

Looks like a llama to me

            Some great pics!

I looked into a window and thought I saw a ghost.  After closer examination, it turned out to be a poodle....

Here are some more photos.  I hope that everybody is having fun.

The first few are noir filter photos that I took in downtown Atlanta tonight.  The next is from inside a record store in Marietta during lunch hour, and the bottom two are ones that I took from on top of a parking deck in Marietta before jury duty.

...and, yes, I gave the musician a few dollars before I took the photo.

Good catch!   It's actually an alpaca.

                Jason - Nice photos!

The sky/lighting yesterday  was dramatic.  Can't believe I am getting shots like this with a phone

I hope that everybody is doing well.  Here are some photos from my Mystery Mountain 12-Miler at Fort Mountain, Georgia today.  I'm not fast anymore, so I can take cameras to these events and snap some photos.

What's the story behind the tower?

                        Nice shots.

"C" is for cookie.  That's good enough for me.

Thanks.  That's the observation tower on top of Fort Mountain.  No rickety lumber wood towers for these folks.  Fort Mountain people deserve the royal treatment.

I wanted to take more photos of the trail hills, but mere pictures cannot convey the suckage of Mystery Mountain Marathon/12-Miler.

If you're not in shape, then you're going to die.

If you're actually in shape, then you're likewise going to die.

Back when I used to be a runner, I completed the full Mystery Mountain Marathon a few times, and put together this elevation chart...

Some fish from today.  I love swimming with fish I had trouble keeping up with these though.

Trail run at Hickory Knob State Park this morning. This lake is on the SC / GA border.

                                Not at it at all.
