Wondered if a speed workout would be possible in this heat, so I went to the track. Once I was there, I realized I didn't have my watch. This is very unusual, and I think it was just because I was only thinking about the heat index which was about 110. I ran 2 miles on the track and realized that a track workout would be "stupid" to put it mildly. I then drove to the trail and ran another 3 in the shade from .5 to 2mm and back on MKT. Not as bad as you would think, but still not something I want to do very often.
