Found out that Marathon week at Marathon Sports is one hard week to work. It definitely made it difficult to get my runs in, and as proof of this I missed two days in a row. I worked late and had to be there early, so I couldn't run at any decent hours.
Today was a 12 miler, I just cut off the beginning of the Saddle Hill Loop, running instead straight through town to 85 and taking that left there. It was a good pace, felt pretty comfortable. The problem with this run was my right leg. I was having serious pain in the posterior shin area, enough that I had to stop for a minute to figure out what was going on. I assumed it was a pronation thing, but I noticed my shoes were tied pretty loosely so I bent and tied them up a lot tighter. Surprisingly, this took away all but a little bit of the issue. Very strange. I wonder what's different about the Glides compared to the Rides, since I never had this problem with them.
