Went out at about 7:30pm on a warm summer evening along the Spokane River. I guess I should have expected to be continuously bugblasted the entire ride! I learned within the first mile to ride with my mouth closed. That aside, this was an enjoyable, quick, short ride. Out and back. Pushed the pace coming back (probably averaged 19mph the last 5 mi.) I'm determined to get my endurance back before winter! I'm hoping that running will figure strongly in the mix, but while the weather allows, the two wheel option works, too.
