Debated on whether to run or not. Decided to give it a shot. Even though I'm coughing & blowing my nose frequently, the run wasn't too bad. Breathing was tougher than usual, though, and my HR (120 avg/136 max) tended to creep up more than usual (it's also very humid outside). Besides the cold, I'm fighting some recurrent low back pain, and my heel/achilles was pretty sore. But, with all that said, I can feel an undercurrent of aerobic fitness starting to return. My legs feel stronger and, after I finish, I feel like I could tack on a few more miles. I've also dropped 11 lbs. in the last 10 weeks, so I feel lighter on my feet. Although my wife is asking me where my butt went.
