Took Apollo on his longest run ever, and my longest so far this year. Everything felt good, with exception of my breathing. Starting to think my cold has morphed into either bad bronchitis or mild pneumonia. A non-runner would think I'm insane to run at all (let alone my longest this yr), but you fellow runners know the inner madness that drives me. Honestly, I didn't even cough during the run...although I had a couple of REALLY messy snot rockets (sorry).
I can tell that the zone 2 HR runs are really helping my endurance. My legs feel strong, and I felt like I could have run a few miles farther than I did, especially in today's weather (cloudy, 60°).
