Another crisp, sunny day. Made sure to keep this one slow and easy to not strain my congested lungs. Finished up with Apollo at 4 miles @ 9:17 avg pace, then did a couple of 160m strides (with 160m recovery) just to keep a little snap in the legs. Need to watch it, though, since I felt my right hammy tug just a bit at the end of the second one.
Wore my Brooks Pure Cadence, which I've had since last summer, but had only worn once due to the low heel-to-toe drop. Thought I'd start working them into my rotation (I also have a pair of Pure Flow) to see if my heel & Achilles will adapt. No problems during the run, but we'll see if any soreness sets in later.
