I am so happy for you knifey! And you too Jerry.
I seem to be on the mend as well. Going slow, but at least running somewhat.
Runners run
I "missed" my projected mileage by 20 miles, it was not goal per se but a projection of my expected mileage. I am back from my Ridgeway 85 with badly a bruised foot which saw me limp for the last 30-40 miles which had a drastic effect on my final time but I am not worried in the least. I'll do a full race report but boy what an experience, absolutely awesome.
Jerry A runners blog-updated daily
1. 220 miles
2. 5k PB
3. Get under 55kg (121lbs)
4. And a seriously stretch goal - break 20mins for 5k - probably dependent on achieving (1) and (3) above!
The final tally for August
1. 223 miles
2. Yes
3. Not quite - a couple of days of 55.x but finished the month at 56.x
4. Oh yes
Bring on September.
(MTA the extra run I sneaked in on the 31st!)
Great job, Mandy!
Ilene - glad you are back!
Jerry - looking forward to reading your race report. Sorry to hear about that foot.
Live the Adventure. Enjoy the Journey. Be Kind. Have Faith!
Alrighty, August is basically done. How did everyone do?
I was aiming for 200 and managed 230. Woohoo!
75 miles hopefully I will start running by August 20 so that I can make that goal.

Okay I'm getting a later start so it looks like I may hit 40 miles anyway.
It is great to see you back running again, I spent too much of 2009 chasing you and will you to recover fully and HTFU so we can have a YTD race towards the end of the year
+1 for what Jerry said. The bunny had nothin' on Ilene.
Goal 1: 160 miles. Failed Goal 2: run two 5K's and lower my PR. Failed. Goal 3: Baby #3. wife is scheduled for C-section on 8/5.- Success!

I didn't hit the mile goal, and I'm rethinking my fall marathon plans. Just missed too many long runs due to various reasons, and i know you can't cram for a marathon.I did manage to race a 5K (13th OA), a 4 mile (1 OA), and an HM (12th OA, new PR).Oh yeah, we did have the baby too.
nothing to see here.
Oh yeah, we did have the baby too.
Of all the excuses I have pulled out of the hat for why someone didn't hit their monthly target this has to take the biscuit!!!!!

BOY, after two girls this is a nice change of pace.
