Not yet. It might be time to drop everything for a week or two. I'm icing right now.

Fuck, fuckity, fuck, I seem to be reduced to running/hobbling 4-5 miles, my IT pain seems to be spreading to the rest of the leg.
Get healed up guys.
Cheers Ken, good luck in the 10 miler....

Damn guys. It sucks to see these injuries popping up. Hope everyone heals up quick.

Man, I hope it subsides. Work those hips and glutes.

Feeling the growl again
I'll know by the end of the weekend, but I have a bad feeling that I am on injured reserve. I only got a single mile in today, not even warmed up before my leg just quit functioning.
Heck, I can't even bike without aggravating this, I'm at a loss of what to do except keep stretching it and stuff. The more I read the more I am convinced that if I can't snap it back into place, I need to quit aggravating it by forcing the miles in.

Dude I feel your pain. That sucks. Have you tried massage? Maybe get a lacrosse ball and massage it into submission.
Not at it at all.
Walk-Jogger
Have you tried hanging from a chin-up bar and letting your back stretch out? That worked for me once, when I had a pinched nerve or something. That was a really long time ago. That's all I've got.
Retired & Loving It
I will try that. That, and sprinting several 100m segments to try and pop it loose. Issue is the wife is gone for a few days and I am sequestered with little kids until Sunday.
At this point I am considering a real massage visit or perhaps a chiro visit. I have never done any of that. But I'm kind of desperate if I can't fix this in the next few days and willing to try stuff. Thoughts?
I went to a sports chiro for a few months last year and it did help some. A good ART person can get to spots that you cannot get to. It was not a cure all for me, but as I have said before I believe that my issues are more long term and chronic than yours. It may be worth a try for you.
Another relatively cheap thing to try is the Sacro Wedgy. I use it in the car going back and forth to work and also at work. It seems to take the pressure off of the piriformis while sitting (it actually gives it a little gravity stretch). I have been doing this for a couple of months and sitting is more bearable using it.

Damn. If you need a chiro let me know as I have one who is a sports specialist.

Spaniel, I can mail you one if you're interested. Didn't really work for me.
