                     I need to race.

                     

                    My last race was October 2 of last year.  I'm overdue!  Tomorrow is it and boy are we going to make a go of it.  I keep getting those pre-race jitters...butterflies in the stomach, increased heart rate, etc everytime I keep thinking about it.  I guess that means there is still a level of competitiveness in this 35 year old body and that the excitement of it is good.

                              Well, my wife just asked me if I was going to run Boston again this year, so perhaps a local 5K will not be so bad...

                                Splits were roughly 80, 84, 84, 81.

                                 

                                I ran pretty hard and raced decently well. I'm happy with my effort. It shows me that I have farther to go than I thought.
