We are still on the same billing cycle as Christmas for one more week.
My issue is that I never want anything in general, so I am impossible to shop for at Christmastime. So when I do want something, I am supposed to let someone buy it for me as a gift.

Well that was dumb. One of mine are close to retirement as well, and are on sale because they're old. I ordered over the weekend & they just arrived yesterday. I had to wait till after Xmas because I get in trouble when I buy anything for myself before Xmas.
New Ravennas?
No, my other shoe, the Adrenaline. They are on the 16, I am of course still on the 15, so they are discounted at RW.
I actually just started wearing my last pair of Ravenna 5's. Which as you know are 2 models behind. I guess I have a few months to figure out if I am going to update, or try to scour the interwebs for another pair of 5's.

Oh, I forgot you wear the Adrenaline too.
Are we there, yet?
...Adios Boost 2. Really liked them.
Bye bye energy.

And ffs, those Asics are $150 regularly? Wow.
Yes, but I only buy on clearance. I broke four bones in my left foot in 1985 and the Nimbus is the only shoe that doesn't make my foot hurt when I run.
Personal Bests:
800M - 2:38 (5/28/13) | 1 Mile -5:54 (5/28/13) | 3K - 11:55 (12/29/12) | 2M - 13:00 (12/1/12) | 5K - 20:00 (4/12/13) | 13.1M - 1:37:24 (2/3/13)
I guess they should be called Hola Boost!
I hate that they retire shoes. I've still never found a shoe I liked as much as the Brooks Adrenaline 11.
4 miles for me.

Yep. My daily shoes cost a million damn dollars as well. But it's either them or risk having a ton of issues (which I do quite well on my own FFS), so that makes it simple.
Ooh, that goes back a ways. The first ones I had were the 12's. I generally can't tell the difference though. Except (and I've bitched about this plenty before) when going from the 14 to 15 they actually changed the sizing slightly, and I had to go up a half size. I can't fathom why you would do that.
A little over 5.
Anyone have any recommendations for some running pants? I want something slim fitting with a tapered leg and fleecy lining. It gets uncomfortable trying to wear multiple layers of tights. I got these from Amazon, they aren't as heavy as I would like and Adidas pants fit me weird in the waist (kind loose in the waist, but ok everywhere else, so I don't think I can size down).
I've never worn tights, only pants, and have actually been very happy with the Champion C9 running pants from Target. Super cheap also. However I only see the men's online, not sure they make a women's version.
Sunday, on my run, I hooked up with this girl for a few miles. After 2 red lights where she'd catch up to me and we'd stand there not saying a thing, I asked her if she was going to the botanical garden, and she was. So we ran together for a while. Anyways, turns out she works in a LRS, and she was telling me that shoe prices were going to go up soon (or maybe she said they started to go up already). Don't know if it's true, but it sure sucks if it is.
I could go for a jelly sandwich right about now.
