Dad on the run.
Ginny - I doubt we will pick up another program. My wife and I tried a 10k bridge type program and we could not handle the walking aspect. Once we got to where we were running for 30+min straight we felt like walking was taking a step back. We just gradually increased our mileage ourselves. I've pretty much told my friend that we will do the same.
Chasing the sub 20 5K.
That's why I like the One Hour Runner - you just add 5 minutes at a time. Easy and it works whatever your pace.
Ahh, that I could have done! I just hated that I ran for 35min then the next workout I run for 20 walk then run for 20 again. Just seemed bass ackwards to me.
Ginny, was meant to be a fun run until Boston.. Decided to race it.. but didn't happened.. Showing up to cheer is a good show of support to me..Jimmy, the walk part might be to prevent injuries? I have not experience with 10K bridge but most plans will explain the rationale behind certain workout.

Return To Racing
We did get out on the bike path after all. Had to remove a few branches, but kind of nice out. 4.2m.
Looks like we will be running inside again today (if we can get to the track).
Skirt Runner
Can't run before yoga, I only get out of work half hour before the class starts. And the class ends at 10. But what I think I'm gonna do is,if I can actually GET MY ASS OUT OF BED tomorrow, is do my long run tomorrow morning instead of the 3 miles scheduled. Then take Saturday off instead of doing a LR the day before a race, and do the 3 I had scheduled today at recovery pace Monday.

2 miles today. Didn't have my mojo today! But I ran 5 miles Tuesday and then 3.5 yesterday, so not too surprised my mojo was missing today!!
Going back to read the thread!
I hope everyone's day is beautiful.
Do or do not, there is no try.

I'm not real fast but I have time to work on that! I would do a relay if I was given enough warning so I could save up some money for the trip!
This would be awesome.
I would do a relay! ....is it ok if my leg is 10+ minute miles though? (this IS the Penguins team afterall!)
Doesn't bother me. Gives me more time to hang out...lol
A- I don't think Kristin is going to be running 10 minute miles next year!
B- We're all slower than somebody else. Awood, was this article the one you linked earlier?
If you run slow, who cares?
Thats the one
