Went to the mall to buy jeans for the kids, and saw a discount store, so I bought a throwaway shirt. I kinda want to keep it, but the woman told me it was better to do what I bought it for
Pics?
Dave
Here's the shirt you actually race in:

Congrats! 5k's are way more fun than marathons, aren't they?
Absolutely. A slow last mile beats all hell out of a 10 mile deathmarch.
Runner with a riding problem.
That first mile must've felt like death in those conditions.
It made me cry a little. I knew I couldn't keep it up, but tried anyway. The last mile was pretty much full sun.

5 more miles done to complete today's workouts. Boy, that first mile was rough, but I got going pretty good after that.

Not worthy of a pic. It's a long sleeves fleece, very dark blue, almost black, plain. Nothing written, no apparent brand or nothing. Paid $10 CDN for it (maybe 6-7 bucks US) brand new, so not worthy of a pic.
That's disappointing. I was picturing some really obnoxious print or plaid.
How is dear husband taking this roller coaster ride?
OK. Although he is in the basement/man cave while I'm upstairs.

You guys both did awesome, and great seeing you run a HM again. Trail running seems to be good for you.
Thanks. Been a long time since I have high fived you in a race!
Way to go, Oski!
Good racing, Phil and Ray!
LRB- Nice job getting that LR done in the rain.
I ran 5.6 in the rain with the dogs. They still wanted to stop and swim in the river.

It's pretty pathetic that someone on their sixth year of running can't go out and run 12 miles slow without pouting, but I have just come to really hate them.
And lol at your dogs. Ignorance is bliss?
Hmm, I'm thinking ice cream.
