I've got 16 x 100 @ Rish pace tonight. This should be interesting.
Good thing those are short, speed work is no joke three days removed from a PR performance in the 10k. You may not feel a difference but your body sometimes can.
7 inaugural miles on the road bike
It can move faster than I am comfortable with moving yet. (Yes, that is a snow blower being used as a work stand).
Nice wheels Jay, I still cannot believe how I dropped biking like a bad habit after that first 5k. I was as into it as I am running!
Former Bad Ass
After close to two months, I have cupcakes! Yeah!

I saw your pic in FB. Nice!
That's why speed work was delayed by a day! I hear you though. I'm starting to feel like I need a few red cord sessions myself.
5K Specialist
8:15 average pace. The first three miles were about 8:25 and the last three at about 8:05. I felt so tired though.
Dan...take a rest day! Your 'rest day pace' is probably MY racing pace, lol. Well, Dan, I bet if you yell "FIRE!" you'll have everyone participating in the hall-sprint races.
Personal Bests:
800M - 2:38 (5/28/13) | 1 Mile -5:54 (5/28/13) | 3K - 11:55 (12/29/12) | 2M - 13:00 (12/1/12) | 5K - 20:00 (4/12/13) | 13.1M - 1:37:24 (2/3/13)
Cyberic, I'm the contrary. I walk super fast. Sometimes I end up talking to myself because I have left them all behind. Sigh.
I know people always walking fast for no reason (to me), mostly women I'd say. I can walk fast, and I do sometimes when I'm going somewhere and am in a hurry. But if there is no rush, I am slow. Now that I think of it, most tall people I know walk slow.
Run to live; live to run
8.1 earlier today. Trying to not overdo it.

I just let the alarm keep on ringing and ringing! I've got 16 x 100 @ Rish pace tonight. This should be interesting.

That post of yours makes me realize it's been a while since I did a real speed session. My quality workouts are mostly at Interval pace, or Threshold pace since I stopped following a plan. Maybe I should have one soon.
That's the thing. To me it feels slow. When I try to walk fast I am almost running. Always have since I was a kid
race obsessed
same for me and my DW...
I feel like she is always in a rush and I just walk casual get get left behind.
One of our friends that 'wants to run' but 'cant' walks 4-6 miles a day and complains about the time it takes. I have walked with her and it is an uncomfortable pace. When I have coaxed her into trying to run, she runs slower than she walks... WTF over...
Perspective; I walk fast as hell to most people who walk with me, except my brothers, who I had to literally run to keep up with!
Watch out for those Google, driverless, Street View photography cars. One of them hit a dog in Chile.

And none of us light a candle to Mary!
SRD. Switching because tomorrow I have a tough MLR workout (enter fast miles here), it's still hot as hades so I would have to run on the TM today and will aggravate the knee soreness. So, I will run on Friday. No weights either because the squats would definitely aggravate the knee too.
