7 miles with 8x200m fast
9.25 with a few strides.
I love 200s.
What do May showers bring?
Mosquitoes!
I like them too.
This was my "easy" race week workout.
That's pretty much what my 1 minute intervals are. I like them too.
Never done anything less than 400s. Unless you count strides, which I did a ton of this cycle.
Dave
It's essentially an extended stride, at a fixed distance.
Yoga was packed tonight. And get this; two other guys showed up. What are the odds??
I have not done many either. My shorter intervals are usually 2 minutes long, which is longer than 400m.
Yesterday, I was struggling with my first 4 400s. I then ran 4 200s at a faster clip, and then, when I did another set of 4 400s, they were easier. Was is the 200s, or my post marathon rust would have fallen anyways if I had kept doing 400s, I don't know.
But 200s are fun. You can go pretty fast without fading.
there are 2 men in my yoga class
Are they ripped like Ryan Hall?
About Ryan Hall's 40 lbs extra, is he trying to get faster with that, or is he done with marathoning?
Are we there, yet?
June brides?
2024 Races:
03/09 - Livingston Oval Ultra 6-Hour, 22.88 miles
05/11 - D3 50K, 9:11:09 05/25 - What the Duck 12-Hour
06/17 - 6 Days in the Dome 12-Hour.
That's what I like about strides. That, and I'm not trying to hit a certain pace, just go as fast as I can.

He retired from professional running altogether as far as I know. Everything.
