I am pretty pleased with 2013, I've grown and I've improved tremendously. I can't wait for 2014, my plans are more trail races for distances over 15k, more trail running period.

    1. Trail Half Marathons
    2. Keep building my mileage and pushing my limits
    3. Lose these last, annoying 10 lbs that just won't go away
    4. Stay healthy and injury free.
    5. More trail running, even in the humid, hot summers
    6. Get a sub 7 min/mile 5k

    How about you?

Spring: Wave A Peachtree time. (been trying since 2012, I'm now within 40 secs for the HM time.)

Autumn: Marathon time that lines closer with my HM time. (My marathon PR is stupidly soft now. I'll tighten this up mid-year but lets say 3:45 for now)

Probably will complete another couple of tri's to build experience. I would love to get up to a Half Ironman.

I must be posting in too many forums. I'd swear I've posted this several times already.

Wha?? I actually meant it.  I have been trying all year to do this and haven't been able to.  (Well I tried twice, but that actually is my only goal right now.)

Are you sure you're not pulling my leg? Or did you actually know I really meant 7min/mile pace, not an actual 5k in 7 minutes?

                        1)  BQ (3:15).  3:12 would be nice.  I don't know if I'll get there for my May marathon, but I feel good about my chances in the fall.

Yes.  I also meant a 7/min mile pace and I'm completely serious. My PR is a 7:11 pace.  I have one more shot at it on Dec 31 but I'm not real optimistic.

Okie dokie lol. I finally got a sub 8 min this year so I am hoping next year I might be able to knock off another  minute per mile.

Sept 2012 I ran a 7:20 paced 5k. My PR, from August is a 7:11 pace. So I shaved off a whole 9 seconds a mile this year.  I know I can do better. I just haven't been able to. Confused  I hope you have an easier time at it! (and no, I'm not being snarky!).

                                1. Stay healthy!

                                2. Sub-5:30 mile

                                3. Sub-19 5k

                                5. Sub-1:25 HM

                                6. BQ my first marathon (3:15), we'll see how I come out of the other end of marathon training, but I think a 3:05-3:10 might be doable.
