I took the road bike out this afternoon for 35 miles at 17.9 mph. Other than a frustrating wind, the weather was absolutely beautiful.
I have decided that wind sucks more when you are biking than when you are running. Of course, ask me that again the next time I run on a windy day.
<3
Nice double! I thought you were on the wagon? I keep saying I will get on that thing, but I think mine has a broken wheel!
I was, for 11 weeks. I am back and fresher than ever!
Yes you did Oski! Care to join me for a drink?
That looks interesting Spark! I am having a Cabernet by Louie Martini. I have never had it before but with a name like Martini I am hoping it's good!

One of the DW favorites is the Cabernet, I think there's a 2009 and 2011, she likes the '09. Enjoy sir.
Hip Redux
I am having seltzer water! I know, living on the edge over here.
Really? 2009 is what I got. Sonoma County here I come!
Careful around the heavy machinery! ; )

Speaking of drinks I'm going to trivia night with the girls for beers, food and good old fashioned bar trivia insteadof the gym. Bad me!

I started a blog about running :) Check it out if you care to
Yep.
One word for that; Bloof!
All this talk of wine ... I will be pouring a Captain and Coke as soon as my son is in bed, and after I make my first attempt at using a foam roller (I went out this afternoon just to buy one because this is bugging me so much). The tightness in my hip has gradually moved up that side of my back today and reached the middle of my ribcage. >:<
I'm going to spend some time on a heating pad first to try to loosen things up a bit, then roll.
20,000 miles behind me, the world still to see.

A lil capt and diet is my preference.
Hi Dailies:
Basya - nice TMHM
Step - take care of that hamstring
FLA - got to be funky
DaveP - you have a better attention span than I do. Watching any part of a draft has always been painfully boring.
D - hope the hearing went well
Baboon - 70's, heck yeah.
Kristin - you've mentioned them being loud before, I think? Maybe it's time to start yelling rude things.
April - great weather
AmiK - wow that is early.
Rick - ah, the joys of distracted drivers
Brrr - nice job
Zelanie - feel better
Marjorie - nice run
Lilac - the wine sounds like a good idea
Free - enjoy the walk
Scotty - there are days that are not hill days?
Tom - good job
Kay - photons are glorious things
Oski - a truly warm day is still a fantasy here
Sparker - do you make them use flint and steel, or is gasoline and a match sufficient?
Bruce - never understood that show's humor
Drinking my first Leine Summer Shandy of the season, even though a week ago I was running through near whiteout conditions. What a difference -- my pond is unfrozen and spring peepers are reaching cacophony volume across the road.
Shorts and a tee because "warm enough" counts. 10.4 miles, 7:32 pace.
BruceD555, sweet seven TM miles.
Scott, how cool that you and your son can share something like that.
Rick, enjoy that wine. With the doubles, you earned it.
Oski, great job cross-training with the yardwork.
Phil, you're better than I. To quote Cartman (I think), I'd have said, "Screw this, I'm going home!"
kristin10185, have fun at trivia night.
Shari, yikes!
Shirfan, great distance. I hope to be able to run at least a 10K at that distance someday.
Weights and forty-five minutes on the ArcTrainer are done.
Wickedly Average
I think I'm going to be visiting the local running store in a couple of weeks. It's time to get set up right with a pair of nice, light almost-neutral running shoes.
