If they were used consecutively, LtH would certainly not approve. That they were not, I think he would.
Yes he would!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What I usually have in my coffee: vanilla almond milk. What I have when I'm out: half-and-half. What I would have in it every day if that were a convenient option: homemade whipped cream.
But that whipped cream in a can might be good on MBC's pancakes - I hope she had them that way! And that she has a great 70.3 tomorrow!
10 miles on the trail today. I thought about challenging this lady to a race, but I was afraid that despite her current preoccupation she would still beat me.
20,000 miles behind me, the world still to see.

Awww! So cute! What do they do in winter? Hibernate, I guess? But where?

They dig a grave and bury themselves (okay, technically not a grave). I saw one coming out of a hole last spring during a run.
What a cool sighting! I don't think we have them around here. Though I do live not too far from a river. Maybe the fact that I run on a TM explains why I've never seen a turtle on one of my runs, though. lol
Runs4Sanity
5.1 humid miles with Rocky this morning, barely a single ditch of water or even a puddle for Rocky As much as I hate to say it, he might not be doing to many runs with me this Summer, my easy pace is now around 9:30-9:50 min/mile and he's seriously lagging and trying to slow it to 10:30-11:00 min/mile pace
I'll try to keep up on walks with him, I don't want him to get fat or depressed and feel left out.
Then after the run I headed to the gym for an hour of Biceps, Triceps and Chest.

Ran the Baltimore 10 Miler this morning. 1:56:53, 11:32 minute miles. Ran most of it with the 1:55 pace group it was fun. Challenging race with lots of hills, but I've done it 3 years in a row and I love it.

Lol. I've never seen a turtle around here either, wild turtle I mean.
I knew what a sprain was. I heard 'sprained ankle' a couple of times in my life. Maybe it's because I've watched more football and basketball than lily.
9.4 miles for the day, 61 miles for the week, 29.9% at MP or -
I passed this one on my way out, ran 2 more miles and came back, and she was still there. She had been joined by a second one just 20-30 feet down the trail. This time of year is really the only time I see them - they are coming up to bury their eggs in the sandy soil along the trail edge. These were both snapping turtles, but we have a few other species that we see from time to time resting on logs out in the water.
Are we there, yet?
Thought it would be fun to run a 5K a week after my 50K as part of my recovery. No surprises that it was a PW, but I was surprised that I could still run sub-30:00 on a course with rolling hills: 29:28 (9:22, 9:43, 9:31, 52) Finished 94th of 250. No AG awards, top 3 only. Had a lot of fun and the post race ceremony concluded with a dozen nuns dancing to We Are Family.
2024 Races:

10 miles. Heading over to the Baboon household for pancakes and coffee now.

Hilarious!
Dave, I doubt those pancakes will rival that pancake porn you posted last week but what the hell, any pancake is a good pancake.

I do actually plan to go out for pancakes, just not sure if I will go back to the same place or try a new one.

Damn, you just barely missed a PR. You mad or glad?
