The effects of the alcohol might be intensified.
Massage releases toxins into the blood and needs fluid (water) to remove them. Alcohol dehydrates so there is a conflict there.
Some massage therapists are dead-set against it, others say to drink at a one to one ratio (alcohol to water).
You will probably feel light headed in the hour or two afterwards, this is normal.
All this talk about alcohol has me thirsty.
