G'morning sleepyheads! I made extra coffee, so pull up a cup.
I'll be off to the park later for a few miles, followed by dinner at the IL's house. Ma's 70th.
Coffee? Did someone call me?

With minor discrepancy on weather conditions.
MTA: on my third cup.

Are we there, yet?
Coffee's ready. Time to get my first mug, then I won't have to go back and correct all my typos before posting. Plan to go watch an indoor track meet today to cheer on the college kids I run with. Expect to get in some miles between events.
2024 Races:
03/09 - Livingston Oval Ultra 6-Hour, 22.88 miles
05/11 - D3 50K 05/25 - What the Duck 12-Hour
06/17 - 6 Days in the Dome 12-Hour.
I have not had any yet. Guess I should do something about that.
You forgot the heavy weights
Back to the relative tranquility of my home. DD's soccer practice has been moved from Saturday mornings to Thursday evenings. So Thursay I'll be driving all through town between DD's practice and DS's practice, but this morning I'm still in my PJs sipping my coffee. Second cup coming up soon.
I'll be running this afternoon during DS's practice. 100 minutes easy, maybe with some MP miles thrown in, or not.
Run to live; live to run
No sleepy head here. I ran 3.1 speed progression work. Now off to do errands.

Some pics from my polar expedition race last weekend.
Outkicked that little girl at the end -- passed her up about 10 yards before the finish! So there's that. I just checked & she was in the 10-14 AG.
Yep, that's a 5k face of pain right there. lol
Those conditions look wretched!
Yep, that's a 5k face of fucking cold pain right there. lol
Uber suckage. Not fit for man nor beast.
1. I don't see the need to specify heavy because there is no such thing as "light lifting".
2. On the days I lift there is no effing way I can do anything else. LOL

Hi Dailies.
I'll have a cup, please, it's early.
DaveP: Was that even fun? It looks cold and miserable, but great job beating that little girl.
4 recovery miles for me and now we are going to DD2's all day and into the night swim meet. I am bringing lots o' reading material and hopeful I can get in a nap or two.
See ya.
