The elite field as of April 16 from The Boston Globe. I would have thought Mr. Hall would have been a late addition, anyone heard anything on him?
As usual, feel free to point out where I was wrong note omissions and corrections where necessary.
Good luck to our runners from the B & B, as well as runners from RW and RA at large and anyone you may know running or volunteering there!
10-20 mph headwinds.
Maybe this could be Desiree's year. Men's champ not likely to be an American repeat
I hope so although I'm supposed to favor Shalane being a local. I'm curious how Amy Hastings does. With Hall DNFing in LA I wasn't expecting him.
Did you check the women's list for Ryan Hall?
Im kidding, I'm kidding.

I heard he was changing his last name to "Hall-DNF"

Hey now, don't go insulting women!
You're right. My apologies.
Ryan Hall 2:04:58 Boston 2011. That was the most fun I had watching as a volunteer/spectator. (ran it last year so missed Meb) If he doesn't run another race I still can't criticize the guy.
Same year Desi loses by 2 seconds which made me a big fan over Shalane. I got to meet her which was cool also.
Shalane fan here I like her more since I started following her FB bloggish posts.
LOL about the Ryan Hall comment.

I think he is totally approaching criticizability
You take that back!! I was overly critical of Bill Rodgers years ago when he had some DNF's until I beat him. He was in a medical tent by Heartbreak when I went by but I still count it.
