I am a pediatric occupational therapist. Which, in short, means I help kids with special needs develop skills they need for daily living such as self-care, feeding, fine motor skills, ect. I work full time at a school for kids with special needs and after school I work with kids in their homes as a part time job. I love it!!!!

Nice! Do you get free beer??
I am a project manager the operations team of a software company; our main product is a virtual world (you know, with avatars and stuff). We use our product for daily meetings, which means that I am surrounded on any given day by: tiny robots, foxes, a pig in a suit, a giant sting ray, a monkey, zombies, a bear in a blood stained apron holding a cleaver, squirrels, and a blue guy with a rainbow coming out of his butt. And that's just a sample.
Your job sounds awesome

I'm a home health PT assistant. I'm an independent contractor so I have a very flexible schedule.
Kristin- for the first 5 years after I graduated from PTA school I did outpatient and aquatic pediatric therapy! Best job ever!! But then we moved back home to a much more rural city, so nursing home and HH work is easier to come by. I do love these settings too, but it's not quite as fun as playing with kiddos all day
Bless your heart.

Former newspaper reporter/editor turned stay-at-home mom. I still do some freelance writing and editing, along with some PR work, for a few local clients.
20,000 miles behind me, the world still to see.
There are a lot of lawyers here. Interesting.
Also, given the people who have posted in this thread (which I realize is not the population of the BooF), I'm surprised at the during-the-day traffic in these parts.

The sad, sad truth is that I work in Human Resources. BUT, I don't have to deal with people. I'm an HRMS Systems Analyst and Salary Administrator. Mostly I spend all day programming our system to be more efficient, analyzing data, and making sure salaries and benefit deductions are correct and in line with the rules of our TWENTY THREE labor unions. For 2000+ employees. :-|

I spend a good part of my day reviewing jumbo medical claims, $100,000 + ... Take care of you health, people, it's scary out there.
