MonDAILIES: Skyfall (Read 36 times)

Grr. Sounds like a Monday. Hope your day improves.

We actually got some snow! I think a foot. So, snow day for my kids. And the temps are going to start falling. Check out the hourly forecast from Tuesday into Wednesday (and that doesn't even touch our low for Wed - which is supposed to be -29*F):

I'm guessing school will be closed on Wednesday for sure, and maybe even Tuesday, too. My kids are not mad. Wink Big grin

I'm hoping to not go outside in that shiz. I'll be on the hamster wheel for 6 in a bit.

A -50 wind chill? That's unheard of around these parts. If we got that it would be like a snowfall in Georgia, they would freak the F out!

High of -13 on Wednesday, high of 40 on Sunday

A 53 degree swing? Nice. lol

        Good morning!

I ran 12 hilly miles on a nice morning.  Upper 20s/low30s with clear skies and just a breeze.  It won't be that good again for the next several days, and I'm glad I could take advantage of it.

        Have a great day!

        Gratitude.  👍

FYP. I think anything under 0 is awful. Like, takes your breath away when you hit the air, awful.

And welcome back to this shiz weather. Sad

          Hope you feel better, FS!

Blah, I think I made the mistake of going to bed on a nearly empty stomach. Woke up, took my pre-workout on an empty stomach and my stomach has declared mutiny lol.

I would have been in bed at like 8 last night if it hadn't been for DH! I'm early bird and prefer to be an early to bed, but DH is a night-owl who also happens to work late and come home after 8 PM...... I have no idea how our relationship has worked so well.....

+1.  It takes me about 3 hours to get almost full after I get home.  If I get home late, I get behind.

I typically only have about an hour between the time I get home and when I start getting ready for bed, so it can be a pretty high-intensity feeding session.

                          Today (a typical working day):

                          - 1 english muffin and a coffee before running to work

While sitting at my desk in the AM (this is what I had today, but every day is very similar)

                          - Grapes (maybe 30...)

                          - 1 banana

                          - 1 homemade chocolate chip cookie with pecans

                          - 2 clementines

                          - 1 quaker granola bar

                          - 1 apple

And now I'm eating lunch which are famous around work, both from quantity and quality (95% of the time home cooked from the previous days suppers) which is, today, a beef / vegetables stew. I'll have a yogourt for desert.

This afternoon I won't eat, then I'll run home.

We'll cook a good supper, with leftovers for my lunch tomorrow.

At around 7 or 8 I'll eat a few bowls of BBQ chips.

And that's just enough so that I don't lose weight.

Yeah..... I'm trying to lose at least 10 lbs by Summer so I'm in a calorie deficit of anywhere between 1,700 and 1,900 calories based on my activities.

So apparently, I sit next to Cyber Jr at work. He's a mountain biker who, according to Strava, has already logged about 650 miles in January (with a measly 57,000 ft elevation). He eats enough food for a family of 5, has no body fat and is 6'6". I've never seen him sitting at his desk without food in his hand.
