TuesDAILIES: Don't overthink it (Read 47 times)

LRB

Rick, my sweetie, come here close to me. No, closer than that... ACHOO! Ooops... sorry, darling.  I'm sick as a... I don't know... A tired old runner? I think I've gone through three boxes of Kleenex already. I'm disgusting, really.

    You are funny!

Make me laugh, I need it. My broken groin is not getting better which sucks because my legs feel the best they have in weeks. I want to fucking cry right now.

Wait, I just thought of something... Didn't FS mention once or many times something about this week being her birthday? I think it might be today... In that case, happy birthday, Andrea!

Oh no!  Rest the groin! No need to run until race day.

I took a Motrin 800 FFS. I don't like doing that but at this point I don't see any other options.

I probably should have done that when it first flared up but that was me and my dumb ideals about natural healing and all of that crap.

Shit, I'm so desparate now that I might crush one up and snort it. lol

Was it your Saturday workout that caused this to flare up?

Was it your Saturday workout that caused this to flare up?

Well it's agitated by stride length and thereby speed so technically yes, although I've been dealing with it for weeks.

It usually kills the night after a quality run but gets better during the week, to the point I can run quality again by the next Saturday. The first mile or two is always tight but then it loosens up and I'm fine.

I think the difference this week is that my legs have been lively, so I'm running faster despite not actually trying to. Today it was throbbing afterwards, something it has never done. Ergo the Motrin...

                      Lol, I was too slow.

6.5 miles for me this morning.  It was so foggy.  It was like running with a humidifier spraying me in the face.
