I expect to continue to drop in the standings as a sore ankle limits my training.
We still love you, George.

Good strategy - cut back now so next year's goal is lower.
5k 23:48.45 (3/22); 4M 31:26 (2/22); 5M 38:55 (11/23); 10k 49:24 (10/22); 10M 1:29:33 (2/24); Half 1:48:32 (10/22); Marathon 4:29:58 (11/23)Upcoming races: Scotch Plains 5k, 6/12; Firecracker 4-miler, 7/4
Week 51 - And we're all done. Those with lower scores can take solace in that they'll likely have a lower goal for 2023 while those at the top of the miles points will probably get a higher goal. While the StdDev points didn't affect the order of the top 3, beyond that they did play a role in the standings. Check the soon-to-be-updated sticky post for the multi-year standings.
Congratulations to all finishers. Have a Happy New Year and good running in 2023.

Fred - thanks for tracking this all year!
Former Bad Ass
At least I wasn’t last with my shitty year.

You're welcome.
+1!!!
Congrats to Lauren, Fred, and HCK for kicking my ass. I think I was in 10th place at one point and am kind of surprised I finished so high up.
And yes, thanks Fred for being the game admin!
Fred, thanks for tracking all year!
DR, Baboon, HCK. You're welcome (and I appreciate the thanks).
Thanks for the time you put in this Fred, and congrats to the winners!
Are we there, yet?
I really looked hard to find something to criticize, but the only problem with the game was that I didn't run enough. Had lots of fun following the weekly results and looking forward to 2023.
2024 Races:
03/09 - Livingston Oval Ultra 6-Hour, 22.88 miles
05/11 - D3 50K, 9:11:09 06/17 - 6 Days in the Dome 12-Hour.
Thanks Fred!
And I beat Dave

So did most people! I learned:
1. It’s more fun to be on top of the standings than in the cellar. More incentive to get back to where I was in 2021!
2. Once you dig yourself a hole, it’s hard to climb out! My first half of the year was a trainwreck; second half was very good, but I could never move up the standings, since most of the rest of you refused to slack off.
