remind your lungs how much they like the taste of air.

I'm thinking it could do a mean shrubbery trimming too. lol
The pain that hurts the worse is the imagined pain. One of the most difficult arts of racing is learning to ignore the imagined pain and just live with the present pain (which is always bearable.) - Jeff

Ha, someone posted that to my facebook wall today!
I jacked it from FB after I saw it on my wall
Introducing the Specialized Cancellara.
I don't really want it but I'd like to take it for a spin.
Ha, it took me a second. My first thought looking at it was "Cancellara wouldn't ride that, I don't think..."
Could that BE any fuglier?!
I've seen these demo'd. The bike is actually uglier in person. My opinion of course.
To each his own but for the price...something like $5000 plus dollars I don't know why someone would want one. You could get a moped for 1/5th the cost. I hear they are targeting police departments for sales. Don't know for sure.

If those guys would simply put down the doughnuts they'd not need a motor to help them pedal...
Which reminds me, a childhood friend is an MD and kind of an asshole. He's very preachy about diet and weight and exercise, even though he is overweight. He recently bought a motor-assisted bike because he found that riding up hills was too hard. *slaps head* I totally JUDGE his fat ass!
The advantage to the police is they get up to 28 - 30 mph and can sustain that for quite some time.
I can see where they would be an assest to a police department.
My first cousin is a bike cop in Dubuque Ia. that is one hilly city. They patrol the downtown area and campus area's on bikes. Also when there are downtown events, parades etc. They run Specialized MTB's. I honestly don't know why they wouldn't go with a hybrid.
Or a CX bike...yeah, MTBs are needlessly heavy and cumbersome if they're not actually riding singletrack.
Ya, that frame's wood. All wood. Yes, the wheels too.
