Let's Taper! (Read 152 times)

    Well here I go, starting my taper. I got a decent 20 in today and I am planning about 30m total next week. I have a trip to Seattle next week, so I am just hope I don't get sick. I can't believe we only have two weeks left, I think I am more nervous this year than I was last year (my first marathon). There is something to be said about not knowing what you have gotten yourself into until its too late.
      Probably going for ~35-40 this week, myself. Running the Kentucky Derby Festival mini-Marathon (just a half) this Saturday for a PR (it will still be at my current easy run pace). I'll probably do a couple up-tempo 5 milers M & Tu before the Pig.
        Strings your training has been exceptional, very consistent! Good luck this weekend. I plan to up the frequency and have two small speed workouts this week, and maybe one next week, probably wednesday.
