Pace groups for the Monkey? (Read 350 times)

Just kidding Big grin But - do any of you who have ran the monkey have advice on pacing? I know not to try to do any heroically fast climbs but the downhills take energy too. Running fast on the downhills takes energy, but also trying to go slow takes a lot of energy. Maybe there's no answer...I guess it'll be tough.

Go out slow and hang on.

I'm thinking 10'45" a mile until I get to the halfway point.

No. But thanks for asking. I go out too fast at the beginning and end up too slow at the end. So don't do that. May I humbly suggest consistent effort rather than consistent speed.

          The tangents are moot.
