Here’s my tentative plan for the week. Another big weekend planned – 3 weeks out from my next 50K, but I'll have to make it a Sunday-Monday double LR (which fits since I don't work next Monday). We’ll see how that works out.

Life is a headlong rush into the unknown. We can hunker down and hope nothing hits us or we can stand tall, lean into the wind and say, "Bring it on, darlin', and don't be stingy with the jalapenos."
Thanks Holly:
We are finally starting to seem some nice weather, (not so much rain)! I'm still not too confident that my hip will behave for Saturday's attempt at the Sugarloaf Marathon. Oh well, I guess I can always make this another long run or I could also bag it as we pass the entrance to Sugarloaf Moutain just before mile 12 since we are staying at a friends Condo on the mountain, hmmm probably not a good thing to be thinking about already is it?

This confirms the decision I made to pull back at Boston was the right one and the last minute decision to rest two days prior to this marathon was obviously the right one as well.

Big week planned - maybe around 50 miles total. I'd like to do 3 key workouts (Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday) but I'll pay attention to how I feel and reduce that to 2 key workouts if necessary.

I had 43 miles this week. Feels good to hit 40 after a week vacation then a week of being sick.
Philippians 4:13.
About 42 miles this week, but crazy busy so I didn't get to post.
Be safe. Be kind.
an amazing likeness
A fairly straight-forward and uneventful mileage report this week -- nothing really long, nothing really fast, nothing really slow -- which is a good thing...
49.3 for the week, I suppose I should have realized where I was an found another 0.7 to get to 50, but that's just padding the log for appearances.
