Excellent job on reaching your goal Alexander! That's very impressive annual mileage.

My mileage goal was 1200 for 2023, so I didn't need to, nor want to, run a whole lot. Just ran what I needed to reach goal.  I only had 9 miles to go.

        Thurs: 4.5 miles

        Sat: 4.5 miles

        total 9 miles

I reached my goal of 1200, which was 248 hrs of running and 87,554 of elevation gain.

On to new goals and new races in 2024!

Alexander - good job on reaching your goal for the year, especially with having to push during holiday season.

Tammy - congratulations to you as well, for reaching your 2023 goal.

Quickadder - nice job breaking 50 miles for the 3rd time.  That's a big number to hit.

I had rather a down week.  I didn't run on Christmas Day and after the fast ParkRun on the previous Saturday, I skipped the track work for this week (I was also dealing with an abductor flare-up).  My pace run on Thursday did not go well as I averaged 9:07 for the HM miles rather than being around 8:30 as I've been in previous workouts.  I took Saturday off and ran only a few miles on Sunday to get to 2,100 for the year (vs. not running at all).  26.1 miles for the week, but overall 2023 was a good year for me.

Exactly! And congratulations on reaching your goal, Tammy! Impressive total elevation, by the way, I only got to 35,000 or so, my lowest elevation gain in many years. I def should do something about it.

Quickadder, congratulations on the 250% week, way to finish strong and to exceed your goals!

Fred, thanks! I am all too familiar with abductor issues, I hope you have it under control. Congratulations on getting to 2,100 and, yes, definitely taking some time off makes sense after all the things you have achieved in 2023.
