For those of you who are new, this is the 40/40 thread, for people who are over 40 years old who run 40 miles/week or more. We give Free Passes to those who come really close or try really hard...

41 miles total, easy week. Ran about 15 miles of a marathon, then walked/jogged the rest. But hey, I crossed the finish line Smile

          Thanks Holly!

Not sure I will hit 40 this week?  Recovery from the half on Saturday and a little minor surgery yesterday might make it tough.

Was able to sneak in 40.  Smile

             a little minor surgery yesterday

            Will play it by ear...

Minor surgery?  Rest up!  Healing is more important.

Another 100% outdoor week here. Not only that, it was all on trails, with weekend miles on real trails (not Central park style super-wide and manicured "trails"), some of them fairly technical. Tripped and almost fell a few times today. Rocks, roots, leaves, everything. Including even 16 minute miles
