total of 4.2 miles today. kind of broken up into various runs with XC team though. Meet tomorrow and 92 degrees. joy!

Tet, don't say that too loudly (about liking the last 3.5 months of no rain) or someone is going to get a little "I told you so" about it.
8.3 miles today that felt kind of hard on the way out (uphill a bit) but wonderful on the way back (reverse that, so downhill grade). It's not really steep, but sure makes a difference! Beautiful out there, too. I hear we might get rain tomorrow and Friday, so glad I got out there today.

I have never lived in a place where spiders rank as "wildlife" - scary sounding critters.
Life is a headlong rush into the unknown. We can hunker down and hope nothing hits us or we can stand tall, lean into the wind and say, "Bring it on, darlin', and don't be stingy with the jalapenos."
