Marathon Maniac #957
For those of you who are new, this is the 40/40 thread, for people who are over 40 years old who run 40 miles/week or more. We give Free Passes to those who come really close or try really hard...
Here’s what I have for last week’s tally.

Life is a headlong rush into the unknown. We can hunker down and hope nothing hits us or we can stand tall, lean into the wind and say, "Bring it on, darlin', and don't be stingy with the jalapenos."

Heal up Paul.
I'm back in the game. No real plan except to get some long runs on weekends to get ready for the USAF

Sorry, I did not quite make it to 40 miles this week, need a free pass. I'll be missing in action next week as well and probably much longer. Got a tick bite and suspected Lyme (waiting for blood tests). Very weak, high fever, chills, taking antibiotics now. Rash appeared on Friday (tick bite was like a week a before that), and fever/chills started on Saturday. I still ran on Saturday, but that was a bad idea. Not going to run until I start feeling a bit better.
