Life is a headlong rush into the unknown. We can hunker down and hope nothing hits us or we can stand tall, lean into the wind and say, "Bring it on, darlin', and don't be stingy with the jalapenos."

6 x 2:00 @ 5K - 8K, 2:00 jog rcv
4 x 30 secs @ 3K, 30 secs jog rcv

Hi Holly, here's my plan for this week. Essentially I want to keep my legs "oiled and ready" without getting over-tired or injured for my first HM on Sunday.
Plus on Thursday, I have 13 (pre)teenager girls staying over for my dd b'day.
Modified for the official HM time.

Arigatou Holly,

Wed: 6-8 miles - 6.0 miles (8:29 pace) legs a little fatigued today, cut the run short.
Thurs: 4 miles am, 8 miles pm -
AM - 8.2 miles (8:21 pace) good run
PM - 4.0 miles (8:33 pace) recovery run in the heat
Fri: 6 miles - 5.0 miles (8:20 pace)
