There've been a couple of grizzly sightings and one was shot out in North Pole last week when it was getting into someone's chicken shed. That's about 15 miles South of us.
I didn't think it was possible to live NORTH of North Pole!
I hammered down the trail, passing rocks and trees like they were standing still.
Heh, North Pole is a town south of us that lays it's claim to fame as being the home of Santa himself. The Santa Claus house is out there, and all the street lights look like candy canes. Pretty kitschy, really, and definitely not THE North Pole!
The half marathon I run every year is the Santa Claus Half Marathon, and all the mile markers are little santas with the number on their belly.
