          Tuesday 1* 3  *3 pieces of cheesecake consumed. "Interval" training. Glass of wine during recoveries.
          Wednesday 0 0  Scheduled break from cheesecake.
          Thursday 1** 2**  ** 2 glasses of beer. "Tempo" work.
          Friday 1 --  Beer, wine and cheesecake "Fartlek."
          Saturday 2 --  Finish the dang cheesecake already -- "Long"
          Sunday -- 11.8 mi  Started running again. Slow and sore.
          TOTAL   11.8 mi   

          I actually do need to run 40 more miles by Dec 31 to extend my streak of months running >100 miles to 85 months (7 years and 1 month)!

                I finished the cheesecake a day early (Friday). That was perseverance -- I thought I might cramp up at one point. I had more Beer AND Wine today. Tomorrow, I plan to wake up early and see if I remember how to run.
