Life is a headlong rush into the unknown. We can hunker down and hope nothing hits us or we can stand tall, lean into the wind and say, "Bring it on, darlin', and don't be stingy with the jalapenos."

Easy recovery jog
Hi Holly.
Thanks for the tally. No plan again this week but hope to make 40 again this week. The heat & humidity will be dangerous here this week so that could lower my mileage, too.
M - 5K race + warm up; finished 2AG (new AG 60-64), 1st, 2nd, & 3rd in new AG separated by only 6 seconds!
T - 8 miles; hot & humid, jtwili!
W - 5 ezpz miles
Th - 0 miles; extreme heat warning, seemed like a good day to take a day off running.
F - 14 miles; early morning t-storm cooled things off so I got in a longish run while I could.
Sa - 9.1 miles; second cool morning in a row! heat builds back in tomorrow.
Su - 0 miles; gone fishin'
____________
Total - 40 miles

Thank you Holly - and hope you are healing quick
60.1 miles this week. Highlight might have been an unexpected 3rd in Age Group at a 5K.
