Life is a headlong rush into the unknown. We can hunker down and hope nothing hits us or we can stand tall, lean into the wind and say, "Bring it on, darlin', and don't be stingy with the jalapenos."

It was fun being on these 40/40 threads for a bit. But now that my marathon is behind me, I think my mileage will be in the mid 30's from now through tax season (at a minimum). I might touch 40 here or there, but not planned.
That's okay Metalman - we will still see you in the dailies!
Thank you, Holly!

recovering after NYC marathon last week
Hey Holly.
Rest week this week & then a few things (life) kept me from running on days I was supposed to. I ended up with only 21 miles for the week, so I'll need a pass this week. Next race is Route 66 Half Marathon in Tulsa on November 19.
