tetsujin209 I do have pictures closer to the beach!  Here is one looking back towards the town.  The hill in the distance is where the picture I posted yesterday was taken.

Now how come there is this great looking beach in the tropics and nobody is swimming in the water?  The answer could be that it box jellyfish season.  Unlike your typical jellyfish, getting involved with this one is likely to be fatal.  Yes, fatal!  If somebody makes it out of the water and has some of the tentacles  on them the authorities recommend you remove them with a stick.  This kind of thing just seems to discourage most people from swimming.  Go figure.
