The most amazing marathon in history is unfolding as you slumber...

Geoffrey Mutai is breaking loose with his training partner at the Berlin Marathon...he may snag the world record...how can you sleep at a time like this?

Okay, so not everybody is an elite marathon fanboy like me. But still, pretty exciting. Link below to the lestrun thread page where Mutai broke the race apart.

Okay, I've decided to disagree with myself. I think Paula Radcliffe's London 2:15 is the most amazing marathon in history...but still this one is pretty amazing...

Slight sag at the end...no world record today. I can hardly conceive of the speeds these guys run. By my calculation, I could keep up with them for somewhere between 400 and 800 m, and that is all.

          ...we need a

          '' rhoon 1, 2 and 3'' designation.......

          spirited discussion though

..nothing takes the place of persistence.....
