Try to remember the kind of September when life was slow and oh, so mellow.
Thanks for the quote, Jlynne!
Time to post your monthly miles and any PRs or AG awards. You can also post cross training you keep track of. As usual, awards will be given for most miles, fewest miles, average, median, prime numbers, and cool totals.
This is the trail I ran yesterday at Devils Tower:
I hammered down the trail, passing rocks and trees like they were standing still.

Trails are hard!
Pretty picture, Carolyn. Can't imagine climbing that.

As for me, a slightly more modest total: 75.9 for the month and 712.1 so far (which is already a yearly PR). It's also 20 miles more than last month. Small increments.
Need a fast half for late fall. Then I need to actually train for it.

I visited Devil's Tower a few years ago when I was out that way for the Deadwood Half Mary. It was pretty cool looking at the people climbing on the sides.
What an imposing natural edifice the Devils Tower is! Great shot, WC.
Impressive mileage (and half marathon), IBUB! I'm glad to see Henrun making a comeback. Nice RD work, Fussyrunner.

A PR in a local 5K as a tune-up race -- 19:32 last Saturday. Hope to beat that this weekend in my "goal" race.
Most significant running-related event in September: signing up for Boston.
