Well good news everyone! I was able to run 2 miles last night without any pain in the leg. Although I felt fine, I opted to only to do two miles, because a week and a half ago it felt great until it suddenly went out around three miles. So I'll keep my runs short and slow for a little bit and then increase gradually. So I'm planning on 2 miles again tonight.
