Time to start a new week, lol
I went and signed up for off-season swim conditioning for one of the local tri clubs last week. I figured I could use some coaching.
Monday morning, I swam 1600 yds, including one 1000 yd pull. Wow. I'm all impressed with myself - I made it!
Tonight, I'm gonna go for this:
Warm up
Build up (repeat 4 times)
Core (repeat 2 times)
Warm down
Should be a nice workout. And there's a hot tub at the end of it...
Roads were made for journeys...

Hot tubs are actually great for a quick warm-up before. Just a couple minutes though.
Ez recovery swims felt great yesterday and today after a 50k trail race on the weekend.
Monday: 3000yds
today: 700 yds.
Nice trail run !
I didn't quite do 50k but todays swim sure felt good after Sundays marathon. I soon felt what effect the marathon had on the legs when I slip the fins on for side drills.
Did this Thurs night before a hot tub soak and some shared pizza with a friend...

My pool has been closed all week. They had to drain it and replace the drain cover. Haven't been able to get out much to run or bike either. Sure hope they reopen soon!
That's gotta be a little depressing. I hope you get back in your routine soon.
