I have a 2016 Subaru Outback and am looking for some sort of tent setup that attaches to the back of the car and allows the hatch to be open, but secures tightly to the car so rain, etc., can't get in. Something like this:
The one pictured doesn't appear to be very snug against the sides of this vehicle.
Has anyone used something like this with an Outback? I'm trying to not break the bank, either.

never saw one, but I recommend turning the car off before falling asleep in that set up
2020 goal: couch to 5K, currently working on the couch block
Yes!

My daughter has one like this for her 2104 Outback. She lives in Oregon and uses it when they want a base station while hiking around Mt Hood. Says wind can get in, but stays dry.
“Paralysis-to-50k” training plan is underway!
Interesting. Thanks ~~
