Imminent Catastrophe
Looks like I picked the wrong race.

Wait...does this mean the pacers get half a beer?
I want to do it because I want to do it. -Amelia Earhart
But two times the hugs - I bet A1 would gladly give up my hugging him to you.
Long dead ... But my stench lingers !
I think it means you have to mule your runner's beer...

Pacers will not be paying for their own beer.

"I don't see much sense in that," said Rabbit. "No," said Pooh humbly, "there isn't. But there was going to be when I began it. It's just that something happened to it along the way."”

June 18th - Grandmas marathon - beer
Wait. This is news to me. You gonna be there? SWEET! What are your plans?
I'm running somewhere tomorrow. It's going to be beautiful. I can't wait.
Poor baby
I will gladly mule A1's beer. I am also willing to take care of anyone else's beer. You can trust me. I'll put it somewhere safe.Last year there were $2 drafts of Old Chub at a bar on the main street. That is some good stuff.
1) Plan A - Drive up to Duluth, hook up with Scovil apparently he has a place I can crash
Plan B - If plan A falls through - Sleep on a mattress in the back of my truck in the DECCA parking lot
2) That is where the 2 plans converge - Run race, Drink beer with Scovil, Tent and anyone else that can stand me and my dirty songs I sing when I get drunk
3) Pass out on mattress in back of truck
4) Get up Sunday morning - Hung over and drive back to Wausau, WI to celebrate Father's day
I have not figured the logistics of Friday night - But hell that is over 5 weeks away. I will probably leave Neenah noonish. Google has it a 5 hours 43 minutes, so I think it will take @ 5 hours.
Fitgers postrace. Dur.
I am (maybe) lloking for a ride to Duluth Saturday morning early, from 30-40 minutes outside town, zip code 54849. I can probably offer a place to crash in exchange, if'n you are interested. Bed for a ride?
Oh my.
There's a bumper sticker that says,
"Gas, ass, or grass. Nobody rides for free".
Well, a mixed sixer of Yazoo may come close.
