Decided to do this workout at the track (haven't been there in awhile and I missed it!) and push the pace a bit to see how it felt before my 5k next weekend.
warmup: 1.4 mi (1 mile easy + strides)
mile repeats: 8:20, 8:07, 7:55 ( 1 min recovery between each)
cooldown: .6 mi
Felt really hard but man it felt good to push a bit. I needed that!
