Contrary to the sense given by this route's name, it doesn't go anywhere near a forest, those are just the names of the roads. Legs felt a little tired but that seems to be par for the course. This is the "trial of miles" portion of the streak and once I get past it, I'll be quite a bit stronger for it. I haven't decided if I will do a workout tomorrow and if so, what I will do. I don't really want to repeat the 3-mile tempo so I'm thinking maybe hills but there aren't too many around the gym.

Running well is a matter of having the patience to persevere when you are tired and not expecting instant results. The only secret is that it is consistent, often monotonous, boring, hard work. And it's tiring.
