I can't believe that I accidentally PR'd. I fully intended to run in the neighborhood of 17:30 as a tempo run. I was moderately surprised that I came through the first mile in 5:18, but I felt really relaxed and didn't try hard for the rest of the race. I thought I was really slowing down, but apparently that's not the case. I think that those 2x3k workouts are really making that 5:20-ish pace feel like a breeze.
