Notes as promised: This is my first interval session of the year and I was a little tenative because I never know how my body is going to react to intervals the first time out. I wanted to target 5:20-5:30 pace and did pretty well though I was understandably conservative on the first one. I could have done a fifth repeat but given the amount of mileage I've put in and where I am in this streak, I thought it best to finish thinking I could do another than to wear myself all the way out. Overall , I'm happy with how this went and the distance total was decent to boot!
Sooner or later there comes a time when one must risk something or sit forever with one's dreams.
