Notes

My quads were sore, and by the middle of the race I was done. I fell off the back of the pack and ended up coming in last. I'm really pretty bummed, but I think the problem with this race and with the last race of indoor was that I wasn't expected to make it into the post-season based on my early races and so my training wasn't geared towards running in them, rather just to running at NEWMAC's. Because of that I was just trying to hang on to the peak too long, and so I was just too worn out by the end. I am planning on taking at the very least Sunday and Monday off and then doing just the field day on Tuesday.

The only thing I can say is that I am pretty happy with my first two track seasons in college. I dropped my 1k PR by 13 seconds, nearly tied my 800 PR, ran the 400 consistently in the low 53 range, dropped my mile PR 23 seconds, and my 1500 PR 28 seconds. If I can keep this momentum rolling into XC, I should be able to have a decently beastly season.
